Dorothy Louise Johnson, 86, of Borton, Illinois passed away at 12:35 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008 at Twin Lakes Nursing and Rehab in Paris. She was a homemaker.

She was born March 11, 1922 in Paris, Illinois, the daughter of Augustus and Mary Opel (Crafton) Bapp. She married Starling James Johnson on February 17, 1941 in Paris, Illinois. He preceded her in death December 7, 2007.

Survivors include two sons, Larry (Paula) Johnson of Beeson, Illinois and Terry (Beverly) Johnson of Borton, Illinois; three brothers, Charles "Buck" Bapp of Texas, Wayne Bapp of Florida, and Gene Bapp of Metcalf, Illinois; two sisters, Jessie Wallace and Gloria Givens both of Hume, Illinois; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandhildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Franklin Cemetery north of Paris. Bro. Joe Hanley officiated and burial followed. Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Templeton Funeral Home in Paris.
