Glenn Alfred Pedigo, 85, of Oakland, Illinois passed away at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Paris Healthcare Center. He was a retired construction worker.

He was born July 9, 1925 in Coles County, Illinois to the late Ivan and Flossie (Cossins) Pedigo.

Survivors include one son; Stephen Pedigo of Brocton, Illinois; one daughter, Barb Board of Hume, Illinois; one sister, Juanita Kelly of Freedom, Indiana; one grandchild, David Board; three great-grandchildren, Darci Winkler, Cole Board, and Toni Board. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Mr. Pedigo was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of Brocton American Legion Post 977.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

No services are planned. Cremation is scheduled. Templeton Funeral Home of Paris is in charge of arrangements.
