September 22, 1916 - July 26, 2010

Arthur Kiley Roberts, 93, of Paris, Illinois passed away at 7:25 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2010 at his residence. He was retired after thirty-three years as a laborer with Conrail.

He was born September 22, 1916 in Paris, Illinois, the son of the late Albert H. and Catherine (Kiley) Roberts. He married Regina Mae Burns on June 7, 1940 in Paris, Illinois, and she survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Jeri (Daryll) Williamson of Paris, Illinois and Cathi (Mike) Kennedy of Baltimore, Ohio; three grandchildren, Laura Verden Conway, Matthew Adesso, and Juli Adesso; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers and six sisters.

Mr. Roberts was a Lifetime Member of Benevolent Protective Order of Elks #812, and was an avid bowler and fisherman.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

No services are planned. Cremation rites were accorded. Interment was private. Templeton Funeral Home of Paris is in charge of arrangements.
